Various water saving measures are applied depending on the production unit in industrial facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, water use in plant processes is monitored, opportunities are identified based on best available techniques and then investments are made in water saving systems to make production facilities and cleaning processes as water efficient as possible. In the majority of cases, seawater is reused for cooling processes in order to avoid consumption of fresh water.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, seawater abstraction reached 17% of total water consumption. In addition to reducing the amount of water consumed in our operations, our goal for water management through circular economy principles is to continuously increase the reuse and recycling of the water resources we use.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, reused and recycled water reached 31%.
